Amazing Work

I needed a new internal door fitting and a local locksmith recommended Nigel at Door Doctor South West Ltd. I contacted Nigel and he agreed to contact me the following week to arrange a visit. He called, we agreed a time and he turned up on time. He quickly assessed the job (a previous door had been removed and all traces plastered over). Using his manuals, he quickly identified a door matching the other doors in the flat, took measurements and promised to send me an estimate the next day.

On the way out I mentioned problems with the entry door to the flat. He quickly diagnosed a faulty lock and immediately agreed to my request to provide a replacement lock and matching handles. The next day as promised I received an email with a detailed and itemised quote which I accepted immediately by email. He replied immediately and promised to call once he obtained the necessary parts.

Three working days later, Nigel called and we agreed that he would carry out the work the next day, starting around 1700hrs On the day, Nigel arrived a little late - the weather was atrocious and traffic bad. I said I was content to reschedule but he was happy to continue.He carried out the work carefully, methodically and considerately. I was very pleased with the results. Throughout I found him to be polite, friendly and patient and I have no hesitation in recommending his services.

I'm absolutely delighted with his professional standard

I engaged Door Doctor Nigel to supply and fit 5 internal doors which took him 1.5 days. It wasnt a straight forward task as there was some adjusting needed to compensate for a twist in the architrave which only a skilled carpenter could identify & rectify. From the outset he arrived on time, 8am after driving 25 miles to be here and he got straight on with the task. He removed the old doors to his van for disposal with the local authority. He respected my furnishings by covering with dust sheets before he set about getting the new doors trimmed etc. He is a very tidy worker and every now and then would use his own appliance to vacuum the shavings dust. I had an appointment elsewhere that same day and I had to leave Nigel on his own which I was happy to do. He struck me as an honest reliable chap and I was confident he could be trusted. He is trustworthy and I would recommend him to anyone and Im absolutely delighted with his professional standard.
